Acts Sermon Series
This summer in worship we're taking a closer look at the Acts of the Apostles - the stories that take place after the Ascension of Jesus and the foundations of the early Christian movement (first known as 'The Way'). Read ahead!  You'll find Acts right after the Gospel of John and before Paul's letter to the Romans in the New Testament.

BLOOD DRIVE REPORT
We made a difference!
From the Red Cross:
"Thank you for helping to save lives with the American Red Cross. When you made the commitment to sponsor a blood drive this summer, you helped save lives. Your efforts have helped boost the community blood supply and ensure hospital patients have the lifesaving blood they need.

Your blood drive registered 34 donors and collected 28 pints of blood. You and your team also registered 4 first time donors.

For the exceptional support you provided by collecting 100% or more of your blood drive goal, we  recognize you in the Sponsor Spotlight!
Thank you for your gifts of time and support. We truly appreciate your generosity. The patients who have benefited from the blood collected at your blood drive are beyond grateful."

Thanks also to Regina Moller for her leadership and to Bob Moller, Linda LaBrec, Dicie Mueller and Dave Moretti for
assisting

 WOODLAND MEMORIAL GARDEN

"The Lord shall watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time forth forevermore."                                                                                                                                                       - Psalm 121

memorial garden path Death is a part of the life cycle.  We are born. We live. We die.  We leave behind a part of ourselves in each one that we have loved, lived with, and included in our lives in some way.  And, in the hearts of those we leave behind we are forever memorialized.
The Woodland Memorial Garden at St. Paul Lutheran Church is respected as hallowed ground, sacred to the memory of those who have departed from our midst.  The garden is to provide a spiritual place on church property for the placement of ashes after cremation.
Inspired by a gift from the Jensen Corporation, directed to the startup of the garden by the Jensen Family in honor of Kris Jensen, the garden was dedicated in September of 2013. Care and maintenance is administered by the Woodland Memorial Garden Team and the property committee of the church and is sustained through donations and fees.
