News from Denver CPD that may impact building and development projects

We've completed our switch to a new technology vendor for managing check-in at the permit counter, in order to better serve our customers and respond to customer feedback expressing frustration with the previous system.

You can now  schedule an appointment for our high-volume services in advance.

Remote check-in ends tomorrow

As we previously announced, remote check-in by phone (calling/texting) or online is not supported by the new technology. The last day to check in for the permit counter by phone or online is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12.

What's coming next

While only the three services above are offering appointments initially, we expect to expand that in the future. All other permit counter services remain first come, first served. Within the next few days, you will be able to check our current wait times via www.denvergov.org/DS before you come down.

For all services--with or without an appointment--check in at the new kiosk or the Customer Service Center (both located at the entrance to the permit counter) when you arrive.
