This Friday, a Masquerade Ball presented by the Syracuse Silver Knight Foundation will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Enjoy an elegant night of tricks and treats to benefit the Silver Knight Foundation, which helps under-served kids in the Syracuse area. Guests will enjoy a variety of great food, a wide range of entertainment, open bar, a live auction and plenty of great prizes!
As a special thanks from the Silver Knights soccer team, all attendees will also receive a ticket to the team's home opener on Friday, November 18th against the Harrisburg Heat.

The Man Behind the Curtain: The Creation of the Land of Oz

The Onondaga Historical Association will host a one-man performance of The Man Behind the Curtain, written and performed by J.D. Newman. The play follows the creation of The Land of Oz and memorable characters Dorothy, the Scare Crow, the Tin Man, the Lion and Toto as originally conceived by author L. Frank Baum. The piece also details the personal journey of Baum, a native Central New Yorker and author, as he finds his way in the world and enjoys commercial success with "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."

Syracuse Area Paranormal: Spirit Search at the Old Bell Telephone Building

Invest Health gives leaders from mid-size American cities the opportunity to collaborate on strategies that will help improve community health. The Syracuse Invest Health team includes representatives from the Downtown Committee, the City of Syracuse Department of Neighborhood and Business Development, Upstate Medical University, Onondaga County Health Department and Cooperative Federal credit union.
