Back-to-School Youth Mentoring
In August, the Youth Mentoring Program organized the distribution of back-to-school backpacks & supplies that kids, mentors, and their families enjoyed. Arnie's Place again hosted our event and provided delicious ice cream for all to enjoy!
We wish all our mentees a great year at school.
The backpacks were awesome and the volume of school supplies for all ages, impressive.
Thank you to the following sponsors:
Dartmouth-Hitchcock, GOBI Library Solutions from EBSCO, Delta Dental, Greater Concord Federation of Women's Club, Concord Group Insurance, Hartwick College, Sam Paul & family, Terri A. Smith, Barbara Desmond, McLane Middleton Law Firm, Tom Arnold, and St. Paul's School.

Federal Proposal to Fund Foster Grandparent & RSVP Programs
.
Our Senior Programs are National Service programs, operated under Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) grant funding combined with a local funding match.
On September 6th the Senate Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee passed their FY18 appropriations bill, indicating
level funding for Senior Corps Programs.
National service is about extraordinary acts of ordinary citizens here in NH. We see this every day in the time given by Foster Grandparents, Caregivers, and RSVP volunteers.
Contact your Congressional
Representative and
Senators today. Let them know that National Service is important to you and New Hampshire. Encourage them to act to ensure that these programs continue to be funded.
Thank you for your support.

Thank you to Jane and our hosts at GoodLife. We are excited to practice what we learned as we start the new school year.

Saying Goodbye
It is with sadness that two valued members of our staff are moving on to new adventures.
Brooke Noonan said goodbye as the Case Manager at Emergency Housing in July.
Anne Sanuth is saying goodbye as Program Coordinator in the Foster Grandparent Program this month.
You have touched the lives of many people through your years of service. We will miss you and wish you well!
