Laura Smilski
4 Areas of Inner Healing for Deeper Connections
In her short 33 years on this planet, Laura has experienced major depression, severe anxiety disorder and lost her father to suicide when she was just 3 years old. After a bad spell of anxiety and depression which occurred after a relationship ended at 27 years old, Laura knew she had to turn her life around or die. She decided to turn to holistic approaches for healing and began seeing an Inner Child Spiritual Councillor that helped guide her to heal the heart and soul from the inside out. Laura is now a Holistic, Love & Relationship Coach and helps her clients create deeper connections with themselves, gain a greater sense of self and improve all other relationships in their lives.
Jenna Wood
A Woman in a Man's World
Ever since she was a girl, Jenna has been interested in "boys" stuff - sports, going to work with Dad, getting dirty and throwing bales on the farm. She's never bought into the traditional roles of men and women - and probably never will. Just ask her husband, who often plays single-Dad when Jenna travels for work and has mastered the art of not only a pony-tail, but a braid and bun. So what happens when a girl like that grows up and needs a job? She finds herself in male-dominated industries, fighting for equal exposure, equal pay and equal treatment. From a career in sports-broadcasting, right through to the corporate world, Jenna has managed to carve a successful career as a woman in a "man's world". She will share her challenges, her failures and her victories - and a few laughs along the way.
