Bruce E. Becker, 74, of Wadsworth took his last train ride on July 23, 2017, to meet his Lord and Savior, whom he just recently rejoiced in knowing personally.   He was born August 8, 1942, to the late Darlene and Edwin Becker in Wadsworth, Ohio, where he lived his entire life.

He was a proud Grizzly, supporting his school and community.   He loved watching trains with his friends and family, listening to polka music, Canada trips, and sharing memories with his family, whom he loved more than life itself.

Preceded in death by grandson, Michael, he is survived by his loving wife of nearly 42 years, Jerri;  children, Brenda (Roland) Rivera, Jacqueline Imber,  Lisa (John) Sloboda, Brett (Tiffany), and Bart (Cortney);  15 grandchildren;     5 great-grandchildren;  sisters, Bonnie, Theresa, and Tracy;  and brothers, Tom, Barry, Bill, and Ben.

Family will receive friends Thursday, July 27, from 4-8 pm at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, Wadsworth.   Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am at the funeral home with Karen Rule officiating.   Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa or to First Christian Church, 116 Boyer Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
