Curfew Ordered for Coral Gables Evacuation Zones
beginning today at 8 p.m. until Sunday at 7 a.m.


Coral Gables Mayor Raul Valdes-Fauli has signed an Emergency Curfew Order for certain areas within Coral  Gables that are presently under an evacuation order. This evacuation order affects Zones A, B and certain portions of C (red, orange and yellow zones) of the evacuation map. 

The curfew begins today Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 8 p.m. and ends on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 7 a.m. No person shall be outside these areas during curfew hours either as a pedestrian or by means of a vehicle, unless such person is providing police, fire or governmental personnel, or unless such person is evacuating the area. No person shall enter these areas during the curfew hours except upon authorization of the Coral Gables Police Department. 

There have been no reported incidents in our City.  With this evacuation order, the City of Coral Gables is being proactive to ensure the community's public safety.
