As St. John's prepares to move its staff to a temporary location during the Parish House renovation, we will discontinue the collection of frozen casseroles for So Others Might Eat until we return in Spring 2018. Our last casserole collection date is August 6.  Thank you for your generosity in support of this important work . 

Sponsored by the University of the South's School of Theology, and supported by this diocese and parish, Education for Ministry offers an in-depth study of Christianity through reading, reflection, prayer, and sharing in a supportive community of faith. EfM seeks to integrate our Christian heritage with our own life experiences through theological reflection.  The graduate-level curriculum offers the core of seminary studies - Old Testament, New Testament, church history and modern theology.

If you would like to be baptized, confirmed, or received into membership in the Episcopal Church at St. John's, you are invited to join the Rector's 2017 Fall Adult Inquirers' Class. Led by the Rector, the class (a two-day session) will meet on Saturdays, October 21 and October 28, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. both days. Anyone - newcomer or longtime parishioner - - interested in learning more about our Christian faith and life, the Episcopal tradition, and the ministry of St. John's Church, is encouraged to attend.
