The Loft is a working artists' studio expanded to include a gallery and shoppe exhibiting more than 30 artists and artisans.  O ffering drawing classes, workshops, museum and gallery day trips & a monthly art salon.  Lots of unique, one-of-a-kind gift items and home decor to choose from as well as vintage and antique furniture and objects.




 The Loft is where Art Happens in Culpeper! 

Art Studio, Gallery (over 35 local and regional artists), Life Model Drawing Classes (Tuesday evenings), Private Drawing Classes (call for information, 202-669-5195), Weekend Workshops (for adults and kids), Special Exhibits (artists and art groups), and Day Trippin'! (chauffered day trips to selected artistic and creative venues)! 
Many congratulations to Lis Piatt, Debbie Siday, Sue Linthicum, James Erikson, Patty Bell, Joan Bennett, Meroe Dawson, Jan Settle, Mark Saylor, and Carol Wysocki who sold big these last two months!

The Barebones exhibit was such a success with about $1500 in sales and over 100 people attending.  GREAT PARTY!  Love our creative community.

Each year the Loft hosts an arts group seeking an exhibition venue.  This year brought the Blue Ridge Artists League's On the Wild Side to the Loft.  Everyone that attended agreed it was a beautiful exhibit with lots of variety!  What a great group of ladies to work with!

Yoga at the Loft at 5pm will return this month!  Stay tuned for more details!  

Day Trippin' to the Dumbarton Oaks Musuem was fabulous!  First brunch at a very cool and fantastic Italian bistro in Georgetown and then off to the museum  we went!   It's spectacularly designed and laid out.  The gift shop was a delightful fine.  Everyone had a geat time.  One of my all time favorite museums to go to in Virginia.  Where should  we go next?  I'm thinking its got to be the VFMA in Richmond for the Terracotta Army: Legacy of the First Emperor of China.  Read more at VFMA website!
