KUMC has some wonderful programming that we would love to capture for possible use in publicity, promotional materials and on our website and social media pages. If you have a quality camera and know how to use it maybe you could help! Some guidance and directions on what we are looking for will be given to those interested in sharing this talent with us. Specific needs would be based on schedule of events at KUMC. Please contact
Carol Ann Fewell to discuss!

October 22 and 23
United With Our Politics
Matthew 22:15-22
Is the reign of God dependent upon who holds elected office? The view that our lives as disciples of Jesus Christ is overly connected to politics creates deep divisions. Join us this weekend as we explore how to find unity in our faith despite the rhetoric of political campaigns and elections.
Saturday at 5pm
Sunday at 8:15, 9:30 and 11am

Want to Get More Connected?
Join us for Serving@Keller on
Wednesday, October 19, at 10am in Room 410/411. New and long time members can learn about the church's understanding of mission and service. Hear from pastors and program staff about practical ways to be more connected through participation and service both inside and outside the church. A brief overview of child/adult safety standards is included in this hour. It is recommended that you attend Connection Point before this class. Childcare and light refreshments will be provided.

Volunteers Needed
Merry Christmas! Well, not quite yet. But, the Volunteer Ministry Center
will help us do just that - plan for the volunteers needed for our Christmas Eve/Christmas Day service. We are adding a 2pm service on Christmas Eve, so we will have a total of five
Christmas Eve and
one
Christmas Day.
Service Times: Christmas Eve - 10am, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 11pm
Christmas Day - 10am
If you plan to be in town for Christmas this year, please consider serving as a worship volunteer for one of these worship times. We will need Ushers, Greeters, Communion Servers, Golf Cart Drivers and Parking Lot Attendants. In all, we will need close to thirty volunteers for each worship service.
Come to the Volunteer Ministry Center following worship next weekend to sign up for the volunteer position and service time of your choice. If you have any questions, please contact
Kim Kuhlman.

Election Day is Quickly Approaching!
We will be an official polling station again on
November 8. As in the past, we would like to extend Christ's love and hospitality to those coming into the church to place their vote. If you are available to serve as a hospitality volunteer on election day any time between 7am-7pm, please contact
Kim Kuhlman.
