We are excited to officially welcome Fieldwork Brewing Company to the Oxbow Family. Check out the new taproom, which features an ever-changing section of craft beers produced at their beloved Berkeley brewery. 

We're also getting ready for Halloween at the end of this month, and it's already time to reserve your heritage turkey with The Fatted Calf!

LOCALS' NIGHT TUESDAYS, 5-8 pm

Join us for Locals' Night every Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at Oxbow Public Market. Meet old friends and new at this weekly gathering and enjoy a mid-week break from cooking at home! Many of our merchants have special items and offers on the menu.

CRU @ the Annex officially opened last week (entrance on McKinstry Street). Guests can enjoy Vineyard 29 wines by the flight, glass or bottle in a relaxed, easy environment where the tech world meets the wine world. And did we mention popcorn? Meyer lemon-thyme paired with 2014 CRU Sauvignon Blanc, truffle-parmesan paired with 2014 CRU Pinot Noir, and  mocha caramel paired with 2014 CRU Cabernet Sauvignon.

FIELDWORK BREWING TAPROOM NOW OPEN AT OXBOW 

Fieldwork Brewing Company's taproom in Oxbow Public Market's main market hall is now open, and already a popular spot in the market. The taproom offers a unique tasting experience of rotating craft beers produced at Fieldwork's Berkeley brewery. The brewery is known for the range and quality of its beers, and visitors to the taproom can expect an ever-changing tap list of fresh releases to enjoy a sampler flight, beer by the glass, and fresh beer filled "to-go" in growlers and Crowler cans. The taproom is open 11 am-9 pm daily.

C CASA TACOS WITH A TWIST

C CASA's rotisserie ducks and chickens are not only a great meal to order to go, but they also inspire some of their tacos as well. One example is the rotisserie duck taco which plays with the quintessential duck and orange pairing. This taco includes shredded duck along with orange segments, spinach, red onions, goat cheese, cumin vinaigrette, avocado crema and cilantro to make an inspired duck taco.

RANCHO LLANO SECO PORK ON THE MENU AT KITCHEN DOOR

Kitchen Door now has Rancho Llano Seco pork on its menu -- the  pigs are a cross of Duroc, Yorkshire and Landrace breeds and are fed GMO-free vegetarian grains and legumes, 90 percent of which are grown on the dry-land fields within a few miles of the barns.

Fall is in the air and fall flavors are in the ice cream scoop case at Three Twins. The first flavor available is spiced cider sorbet (dairy-free) made with apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger and allspice. They also have pumpkin pie consisting of a pumpkin puree with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and allspice. Both flavors are tasty in a cup, sugar or cake cone but even better in a fresh, hand-rolled waffle cone.
