Agent Spotlight
Meet Nadine
Nadine Nadine has a long history with riverboats, having worked for 10+ years on the Mississippi riverboats as entertainment staff and cruise director before moving to the west coast.

Nadine was attending a USA River Cruise presentation with a friend when we met. Her past experience on the riverboats has made her a fantastic asset to USA River Cruises. Nadine has since worked as a senior travel agent with us for 4 years. Her journeys with USA River Cruises have taken her on the Columbia River and the Great Lakes. But it's her southern accent and growing up in Louisiana that makes her our Mississippi expert!  This December, Nadine is heading to Europe for a Christmas Markets cruise. Watch for her cruise pictures before Christmas.
CitySpotlightCity Spotlight
Zadar, Croatia
Viking Star - Empires of the Mediterranean
Onboard the Viking Star next year, you'll visit the walled city of Zadar. It has the privilege of being the oldest continuously inhabited city in Croatia,  since prehistoric times. The city has survived many civilization changes, evidenced in the city's Roman forum, the cobblestone streets, the Venetian walls fortified in the 16th century, and the Citadel, built in 1409.
Viking Star - port Zadar
Modern wonders have been added to Zadar's Roman urban setting, like the fascinating Sea Organ. The seafront promenade was embedded with acoustical tubes, giving voice to the waves of the Mediterranean as they hit the shore. The city constructed the beautiful white marble steps leading to the water. The tubes resonate under the steps.
