October 2016
"Town Crier"
With the holidays swiftly approaching, we urge all vans to fill out the log sheet in advance to note days riders will be teleworking or traveling.  This allows the van to plan who will drive throughout the month and combine with a sister route when necessary.  Please be sure to update all contact information, especially van sponsors.

R egarding payments:  Please use the Chrome browser to load the Patriotic Advantures website if you are paying via PayPal.  This seems to fix the issue riders have had when attempting payment.

Patriotic Advantures Maintenance Team
Contact Ricky at  571-334-0071 or  at Advertise@patrioticadvantures.com

Please notify Ricky ASAP with any maintenance concerns large or small as a preventative measure.  Ricky works hard to ensure that all vans are running smoothly.  Unless it is a maintenance emergency, please do not contact her in the early morning hours.  Van riders should be sure to unplug all cell phone chargers to avoid draining the battery.  Lastly, the maintenance team will be switching out windshield fluid prior to the onset of winter weather.  Kindly let us know if you need a new ice scraper or extra windshield fluid.  Thank you!

John Blair Jr.
John Blair was one of the best-trained jurists of his day. A legal scholar, he avoided the burly-burly of state politics, preferring to work behind the scenes. But he was devoted to the idea of a permanent union of the newly independent states and loyally supported fellow Virginians James Madison and George Washington at the Constitutional Convention. His greatest contribution as a Founding Father came not in Philadelphia, but later as a judge on the Virginia court of appeals and on the US. Supreme Court, where he influenced the interpretation of the Constitution in a number of important decisions. Contemporaries praised Blair for such personal strengths as gentleness and benevolence, and for his ability to penetrate immediately to the heart of a legal question.

About Us:

We, John and Carolyn, came to Stafford in 2005. Like many "military transplants,"John's adventures of finding a good commuting option along I-95 were tedious. After attempting the train, carpooling, and "slugging," finally a solution was found -- VANPOOLING!

It all started with a single van. Strong interest by other "single commuters" and small carpools in the DC area, who were searching for a more efficient and economical option, quickly drove our one van into three! In 2007, the Limited Liability Corporation Patriotic AdVANtures was born and the number of locations and routes we service has expanded rapidly.

Combining Carolyn's years of experience in travel and customer service with John's education and background in business, we offer a unique blend of tremendous customer service and safe, reliable and efficient operations.

Our fleet, now consisting of approximately fifty vans, along with our staff of maintenance and customer service managers, continues to grow with each person's interest. Please, contact us today.
