September 8, 2017 - CONFERENCE NEWS!
We hope you will join us for the 57th CP of NYS Annual Conference to be held October 30 - November 1 at the Saratoga Hilton Hotel in Saratoga Springs. This year's conference is going to have a number of extra special sessions and opportunities for sharing with colleagues across the State - you won't want to miss it. Some of the highlights include:
Dance, Dance Dance!
In addition to some new twists to the traditional schedule, which we will highlight in future editions, we have an exciting special session on Monday, October 30. A Soloist and a Principal Dancer from the New York City Ballet (NYCB) will conduct a dance workshop for children with disabilities. There will be a brief presentation on the origins of the NYCB program. The dancers will then lead a movement workshop for a group of children with disabilities. A demonstration of what the children have learned in the workshop will be presented for conference attendees during the Awards Reception at the Saratoga City Center that evening. Join Mick Ebeling for our Keynote Address "The Fallacy of Impossible" on Monday, October 30.

Please be aware that you must register for the CP of NYS Annual Conference by
October 13 to avoid a late charge. To register for the conference, click

HOTEL ROOM RESERVATIONS
The deadline for hotel reservations is
September 15. Individual CP of NYS Affiliate staff should NOT register with the Hilton Hotel directly. All Affiliate staff MUST register through their Affiliate. If you are not associated with a CP of NYS Affiliate, please call (518) 436-0178 for assistance in making hotel reservations in conjunction with the Conference.
