The U.S. Chamber of Commerce released  new research  showing the harmful, unintended consequences of the Department of Labor's fiduciary rule. These same consequences are the reason that the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce joined a broad coalition of business groups last year in a federal lawsuit challenging this new and very controversial regulation that makes it much harder for Texas businesses to help provide their employees with retirement security, and make it much more expensive and difficult for average Texans to save for retirement. This is one of the many ways that the Chamber is working to cut red tape and fight for job creators! #VoiceOfBusiness
