The Southwest Alabama region has launched an incredible recruitment initiative that links education and workforce development, aligns economic development efforts, and matches employees to jobs.  The ACT Work Ready Communities initiative significantly improves hiring outcomes and reduces employee turnover.

Employers across the county are overwhelmed by stacks of application for only a handful of open positions. Sifting through these applications is time consuming and inefficient. ou need a way to quickly pinpoint individuals with essential, verifiable workplace skills. The solution: The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (ACT NCRC). Bonus: by recognizing this certificate in the hiring process, your business has the power to make your community an ACT Certified Work Ready Community.

Join us for Business @ Breakfast on Wednesday, October 26th at 7:30am at the Bay Minette City Hall City Council Chambers to learn more when Terry Burkle, ACT Work Ready Communities Regional Leadership Team Member presents more information and answers any questions you might have.

Have a Wonderful Week Everyone, and as always we hope to see you out and about in North Baldwin!
