On October 30 from 4-7pm is the annual Great Pumpkin Harvest and we are accepting CANDY donations for the event!  Please place them in the orange bucket outside the Children's Ministry office or in the blue bins.

It's not too late to join our new Stephen Ministry training class.  We have moved the starting date to October 19 from 6:45 - 9:00.  The training is focused on being a caring listener and includes topics on feelings, divorce, illness and grief.  The training is both informative and interactive. On October 30th, sign up to sponsor a Guardian ad Litem child for Christmas by purchasing 3 gifts totaling no more than $60. Sign up will be located near the Welcome Center in between services.	The Advent Festival is quickly approaching and we need volunteers who like to cut and paint to help prepare for our craft rooms!  Please stop by our office (room 108) to pick up some supplies.

On October 25 from 9am -1:30pm, the UMW General Meeting will host a Mission Study in the Youth Building. Deaconess Nan Gordon will lead the study, "The Bible and Human Sexuality." This study will explore the relationship between the Bible as the foundation of our faith and human sexuality, a part of who we are as human beings. The meeting and study are open to everyone.
