Just a reminder...

Does your generator exercise?

 
Your generator is supposed to test itself each week, has yours? It is important to know if it is doing this weekly exercise to make sure it is in working order. If you notice it is not exercising as it is supposed to, take a look at the display panel and give us a call with an error code (if there is one)!

The OnCue® remote monitoring system allows you to view  the status of your generator from your smartphone (iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ device, PC or Mac®)
 
Kohler OnCue: 
1) Purchase OnCue system from your dealer
2) Have a CAT5 cable run from your internet router to your generator which can be done by an electrician
3) Schedule for NE Generator to come out and download the software
4) Create an OnCue account complete with username & password (your generator serial number will also be needed)
 
*Some wireless options may be available in place of CAT5 cable


With OnCue you can see where
your house is being powered from,
the generator or by utility power

You can also see a play-by-play
of what the generator
is doing and any errors that
may have occurred
 
You can even see what would be visible on the generator as if you were standing next to it

Mobile Link allows the homeowner to monitor their generator from anywhere from a smartphone app. You can view the status of the generator, set the exercise schedule, set specific data reminders.

Generac Mobile Link:
1) Purchase Mobile Link from your dealer
2) Schedule NEGenerator to come out and connect the device to the generator
3) Create a Mobile Link account with username and password (your generator serial number is required)

*it is important to have good cell phone reception as this is a wireless system that relies on cellular reception to communicate
