Class Placement
Class placement will be available Wednesday, August 2nd! Please call the elementary office at 408-559-4400 between the hours of 8am-4pm starting on August 2nd for placement.

New Parent Orientation
 
All parents  new  to Valley Christian Schools (K-12) are invited to attend an orientation meeting on Thur  s   day, August 3rd   .  This informational evening will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the main gym on the Skyway campus (100 Skyway Drive).  This is an adults only event, please plan to leave your child at home since no childcare will be available. In addition to presentations and introductions by K-12 VCS administrators, there will be break-out sessions for the individual campuses.  We urge all new parents to attend this informative event, as it is a great opportunity to learn more about Valley Christian Schools and to meet our administrative team.  After the break-out sessions, we invite you to visit with us and stop by the tables representing various areas of our school. Food trucks will be serving complimentary dinner from 5:00-7:00 pm.    Tours of the Skyway campus will also be offered!
Back-to-School Night Kickoff
back_to_school_banner.jpg You won't want to miss our Elementary Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 10th to begin our new school year. You will meet your child's teachers and they will go over their expectations for the year.  This is also a great time to meet fellow classmates! We will have Warrior Wear available for purchase and PTPF information and volunteer sign-ups. Please note the times that apply to your family and that's the time to meet at the flagpoles prior to going to the classroom. Food trucks will be available on campus from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for food purchase that evening.
  • 5:30 p.m. - Fourth and Fifth Grade
  • 6:15 p.m. - Kindergarten and First Grade
  • 7:00 p.m. - Second and Third Grade
1st Day School Supplies
 
If you are entering 2-5 grade and you pre-ordered your supplies at the end of last school year, kits will be available to pick up at Back-to-School Night!

School Hours
8:35 a.m. - 12:35 p.m. - Half Day Kindergarten
8:35 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Full Day Kindergarten and 1st grade
8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - 2nd - 5th grade  
Every Friday dismissal for all students at 2:00 p.m.
Medication at School
                 
If you would like your child to have access to an
OVER THE COUNTER medication during the school day, you will need to send that medication to the Elementary office (in the original container) along with a signed Medication Consent Form.

If your child needs to take a  PRESCRIPTION medication at school, you will need to complete and submit that same Medication Consent Form , signed by both you and the prescribing physician.

Please bring any medication along with the Medication Consent Form to the office on Back to School Night. If you have any questions regarding medications at school, please call the Elementary office at (408) 559-4400.

Summer Day Camp
The last week of summer day camp will be the week of July 31st. No Camp the week before school starts so we can prepare for the school year. Thank you for your support!
Label Clothing for the Upcoming School Year
Please label all of your child's jackets and lunchboxes with their  first and  last  name.  We take thousands of dollars worth of lost items to charity organizations each year.  If your child's item has a name on it, it is much more likely that it will find its way back.
