The M3S Sports team is excited to CELEBRATE Fitness and Football with you at the 2016 Ohio State Four Miler at 10 a.m. Sunday, October 23. With a field of 15,000 runners and walkers, the event is SOLD OUT for the fourth straight year. Shelley Meyer, the First Lady of Ohio State Football, will send you off at the Start Line and the Celebrate You as you "Finish On The 50" of Ohio Stadium.
New this year: We will start the Ohio State Four Miler in two waves. Wave 1 will consist of Corrals A-E and will begin at 10 a.m. Wave 2 will consist of Corrals F-J and will begin to load as Wave 1 clears and will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. See below for more information.
Below is IMPORTANT INFORMATION you need for Packet Pick Up and Race Day.
- PACKET PICK UP for the Ohio State Four Miler will take place in the Northwest Rotunda of Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center on the following dates and times:
- 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 20
- 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, October 21
- 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, October 22
- The Jerome Schottenstein Center is located on the Ohio State campus at the northwest corner of Lane Avenue and Olentangy River Road. The address is 555 Borror Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43210.
- FREE Packet Pick Up Parking will be available in the Bill Davis lot. CLICK HERE for a Packet Pick Up Parking Map.
- WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Please bring a printed copy of you registration confirmation with your bib number assignment and your picture ID. Showing this on a smartphone or tablet is also allowed.
- NOTE: Once you enter your name, CLICK ON your confirmed participant name to see your Gender, Estimated Finish Time, Bib Number, Starting Corral and Shirt Size. (There is a "Print This" button on this page for easy printing).
- ARE YOU PICKING UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE? If you are picking up a packet for a friend please bring a copy of their email confirmation with their bib number assignment and a copy of their ID.
- If you cannot make it to Packet Pick Up, email us at [email protected] and we will make arrangements for you to pick up your packet on Race Day.
Event Shirt Exchange
- At Packet Pick Up (Thursday-Saturday at the Schottenstein Center), all participants will receive the shirt size they ordered during the online registration process.
- If you want to exchange to a different size at Packet Pick Up, please go to the Shirt Exchange Table and you can exchange for a different size if your new size is available.
- If your size is not available at Packet Pick Up, you may also exchange after the event at the Information Tent if your new size is available.
2016 Starting Corral Information - Please Read Carefully
- The Ohio State Four-Miler will feature a starting corral system with ten (10) wave starts (A-J) to maximize the safety and enjoyment for all participants. All participants will be assigned a corral based on estimated finish time. Your corral (A-J) will be printed on your bib.
- Participants in Corrals A-E will load into corrals at 9:30 a.m. Participants in Corrals F-J will load into corrals as Corrals A-E clear the start line.
- Participants must start in their assigned corrals. Participants may move backwards (from B to C or C to D, etc.) without changing their bib letter but may not move forward. Please visit the Information Table at Packet Pick Up if you need to change your corral to a faster corral.
Corrals A - E Information
Start Time: Wave 1 (Corrals A-E): 10 a.m. Corrals open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 9:55 a.m. Recommended Arrival Time: 8:30 a.m.
Corrals F - J Information
Start Time: Wave 2 (Corrals F-J): 10:30 a.m. Corrals begin to open as Wave 1 clears the start line after 10 a.m. Recommended Arrival Time: 9 a.m.
Timing Tag Instructions
- The Ohio State Four-Miler is CHIP TIMED, so your start time does not begin until you cross the Start Line.
- All registered participants will receive a race bib that must be worn on Race Day. Please do not alter the bib in any way. The bib must be visible and worn on the front outside of all clothing during the entire race.
- The timing tag should REMAIN ATTACHED TO THE BIB
Race Day Parking
- Race Day Parking is $5 PER CAR and avaialable in a variety of lots on The Ohio State University campus. Please plan to ARRIVE EARLY as traffic will be heavy on Race Day.
Race Day Tailgate Party Featuring Buckeye Cruise For Cancer Duck Pond
- The Ohio State Four Miler FREE Race Day Tailgate Party will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot on the Southwest Side of Ohio Stadium. The Race Day Tailgate Party will feature vendor booths, music and fun.
- Come check out the "FUN FEST", a family friendly area with inflatables, games, and incredible photo ops! The Buckeye Cruise For Cancer will be having their famous $20 Duck Pond, where everyone is a winner, including a cabin for two on the 2017 Buckeye Cruise for Cancer!
- We will also have games to play with chances to win an opportunity to win an Urban Meyer Autographed National Championship helmet, an autographed Urban Meyer "Dark Night at the Shoe" collector's helmet, and many more amazing prizes!! We will also be having an AMAZING PHOTO OPPORTUNITY FOR ONLY $10!
Race Day Reminders
- ARRIVE EARLY! Traffic is always heavy on the Ohio State campus on Race Day. Please plan to be at the Start Line by 9 a.m. to give yourself plenty of time to visit Gear Check, use the Rest Room and Stretch before the race starts at 10 a.m.
- GEAR CHECK: Gear Check will be located at the start line from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
