Board Meeting Minutes
The Heritage School Board meets twice each month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Minutes from those meetings are posted to the website.
The Heritage 5th/6th volleyball team played Cedar Valley on Tuesday evening and came away winning all three sets. Despite being down by several points in the first two sets, the girls focused and hustled to come from behind with final scores of 25-19 and 25-22. Then in the third set, the girls worked hard to complete three passes before sending the ball over the net and won with a score of 15-13. Way to go Eagles!
The Eagles Soccer Team played an all-around solid game Tuesday (and probably one of the best technical games I've ever seen a Heritage team play) beating Central Lutheran 3-1. Sam Young, Hunter Schau and Zander Edkin were strong on the attack exploiting open seams with great through balls and strong crosses.  Sam Young found a streaking Jordan Robinson with a beautiful cross that Jordan headed home for the opening score. Hunter Schau was on the receiving end of another Sam cross to make it 2-0 and Sam Young scored the final goal for the Eagles, ending the game with a score of 3-1.  Conley Sunblad, Anthony Medina, Corey Holman, and Cale Dawson were strong in the mid-field stopping Central's attack and then quickly transitioning on offense. Heritage played solid defense - Trey Montgomery had 6 saves in goal - and the Eagles kept the Cougars off the board until late in the game. Every available team member found playing time and all contributed to a total team win. Outstanding effort Eagles!

Fall sports pictures will be on Thursday, September 14 at 3:30 pm. Extra picture forms are available from Mrs. Snell. Please make sure your student has their completed picture form, their uniform, shoes, socks, shin guards, and kneepads on picture day.

Trinity Cross Country Meet:
The Fifth Annual Trinity Invitational Cross Country Meet will be at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca on Monday, September 25. The 7/8th grade runners will compete in a two mile course and the 5/6th runners will compete in a one mile course. No other Heritage Athletic Activities will be held on that day. Please e-mail Serah Snell at [email protected]  by Friday, September 15 to sign your student up for the cross country meet.

The Eagles Athletic Department is looking for volunteers to help serve at home volleyball games. We are looking for two volunteers to help with line judging and two volunteers to help in the concessions stand for each game.
