    • Oct. 30 & Nov. 1: Celtic Saints As we mark the Sundays around All Saints Day, we'll dive more deeply into the legacy of some popular Celtic saints considering how their lives continue to show us Christ to this day. We'll build upon last year's themes of Celtic Christianity and thin places.

  • All Saints' Sunday
  • This year we are celebrating the Feast of All Saints on Sunday, November 6 with the baptism of Lydia Castellanos at the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist and our annual reading of the necrology, the list of loved ones who have died.
We invite you to do two things in observance of this feast day:

    1. Please write the names of your departed family and friends you wish to be remembered aloud, to the list on the entrance hall table.
    2. As a part of our celebration, we will create a visual reminder of the Communion of Saints. Bring in pictures or items representing past and present saints from your life, saints from the church, or saints from current events. You may bring photos, icons, paintings, sculptures, or other visual representations of saints. Bring them to worship on November 6 and they will remain up for three weeks through November 20. Please label anything that you wish to receive back. This will be a beautiful way to remember ourselves surrounded by the great cloud of witnesses in the Body of Christ across time and space.

  • Nov. 8, Election Day Prayer Vigil & Nov. 9, Holy Eucharist

Regardless of the outcome of our national election, rest in the prayers, songs and promises of our faith. Let us gather around the Lord's Table pray for the healing and reconciliation of our nation, its leaders and its citizens.

A 30 Day Season of Prayer: For the Nation - This is a national initiative of the Episcopal Church and Forward Movement Publications. It calls us to daily prayer for our nation, its leaders and citizens, as our election approaches on November 8. Use this list to include the prayers, all taken from our Book of Common Prayer, in your daily devotions. You may also view the daily prayers on Facebook page or Twitter

  • Broadway Musical Series: South Pacific
  • When Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific premiered in 1949, it instantly became one of the world's most beloved musicals. Songs such as "Bali Ha'i," "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair," "Some Enchanted Evening," "There is Nothing Like a Dame," "Happy Talk," "Younger Than Springtime," and "This Nearly Was Mine," are classics.

Join Phil on October 28 at 7 p.m.as he walks us through the musical and the movie, sharing anecdotes and back-stories of this masterpiece, all the while playing a digitally re-mastered CD and bringing the songs to life! As always, we ask that you please bring goodies to share with other attendees.

  • Church School Pumpkin Decorating
  • Sunday, October 30, the children will gather with Rev'd Jen to decorate pumpkins and share stories about All Saints' Day/All Hallows Eve at 9:15 a.m. in the Multi-purpose Room.

  • Fall Cleanup
  • Volunteers are needed to help spruce up the grounds of Epiphany on Saturday, November 12 at 9 a.m. Bring gloves and rakes if you have them and please sign up on the sheet on the table in the entrance of the church. Contact Bruce Lambert: 401-871-5193; [email protected].

  • Community Garden is Retired
  • Our deep gratitude to Alex Pilato for his dedication and shepherding of our Community Garden this year and for the handful of volunteers who watered and harvested. Please see the bulletin board in the hallway to read the thank you note from the Bread of Life Food Pantry for the fresh produce we donated this year.

Unfortunately, there is not enough interest nor volunteers to continue the Community Garden ministry. Alex has dismantled the structures and it will lie fallow next year until and unless a new vision for the space is put forth.
