It is time for the fall Eggs n Issues legislative breakfast, and you won't want to miss this one.  With federal, state and local candidates running for office invited to attend and speak, this is the perfect time to meet all the candidates at one event.  Early bird registration ends Friday, so don't delay.  Because we are expecting a large turnout, the event will be held in the NEO A&M Ballroom.

Please consider helping with the Sweet Street Halloween event.  Participants and donations are greatly in need!  Contact us today.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  The Community Crisis Center has many activities planned and the Bearskin Health is hosting a 5K run.  Read more about all of these events in this email, and get involved!

Wednesday the Community Crisis Center has a dedication ceremony for the re-naming of A Street SE to Fern Holland Way. Come enjoy lunch and support the memory of this wonderful woman!

Thursday the Miami Tribe is hosting an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for their new heritage museum and gift shop.  This is a wonderful addition in the Art Worx building at 28 N. Main Street.  Please come show your support between 11am and 2pm for this businesses which showcases our Native American heritage.

Have a great week!

Michele
