Welcome

With the spring break over we are looking forward to a really busy period before the end of the session. CDN has a range of exciting activities and events taking place between now and the end of June and I very much hope that you will be able to join us for one or more of them. In this CDN Update we offer a taste of what's coming up and more.

Please do get in touch with me if you'd like to discuss any aspect of our work: candy.munro@cdn.ac.uk

CDN has developed a new Management and Leadership CPD Framew ork. The Framework aims to support colleges and other organisations to address the challenges of leading and managing in a complex environment. It offers a transition pathway from first line manager to senior leaders. The Framework has three strategic developmental themes: Change Management and Leadership; Organisational Learning and Development; and Strategic Appraisal.

C DN Care Network Supporting Educational Partnerships

CDN's Care Network has been instrumental in supporting educational partnerships; responding to Scottish Government drivers for Developing the Young Workforce (DYW); and Health and Social Care Integration to develop qualification pathways within a national context but providing local solutions.
Examples of effective partnerships with NHS Boards will be presented at the Emporium Finale - Employer Engagement Event on Friday 17 June.
