The State of Iowa recently received a one-time supplemental federal Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program award of $231,842. This brings the total 2017 ESG allocation to $2,757,608.
The additional funds will support rapid rehousing and other critical activities to assist persons experiencing homelessness in the Iowa Balance of State Continuum of Care. Per federal requirements, the State of Iowa has revised its Annual Action Plan to account for the additional funds.
