Wouldn't we all like to find some treasure? It would be even better if the treasure we found already belonged to us, wouldn't it?

I think that is why the antique roadshow is so popular on Public Television. "Mr. Weeks what do you think that old rusty lamp that has been ignored in your attic all these years' is worth?"

I answer, "I have no idea." Then he tells me it is worth a bundle, a fortune even.

What a thrill it would be to find out that some of our old junk is worth a lot of money.

The real thrill is in finding the unexpected treasure on a regular ordinary day.

The parable of the Hidden Treasure begins with a finding, just like this.
