Basic Excel 2016
This course teaches the student basic Excel skills such as formatting, navigating worksheets, basic formulas and more. Class meets Tuesdays, August 8-15-22, 5:30-8:30 p.m. (9 hours total). Cost $75.
Intermediate Excel 2016
This course covers commonly used functions, macros, pivot tables and more. Students should have a basic understanding of Excel. Class meets Thursdays, August 31-September 7-September 14-September 21, 5:30-8:30 p.m. (12 hours total). Cost $85.

Warehouse Processes
Hands-on course covers basic warehouse processes (shipping and receiving, inventory control/systems, documentation); basic forklift operations; and OSHA 10-hour certification. Class meets September 15-23, various times (33 hours total). Cost $340. Tuition assistance available!

Supervisor Training
This interactive class provides new and current supervisors with tools for effective leadership, management, delegation, coaching and feedback methods. Class meets Thursdays September 28 and October 5, 8:30 a.m.-noon (7 hours total). Cost $79.
Conflict Management
This course will address communicating with different styles during discussion, disagreement and conflict. Also discussed will be the principles of conflict and its importance to team development. It will also cover difficult personalities and steps for having a tough conversation. Class meets Thursdays September 28 and October 5, 1-4:30 p.m. (7 hours total). Cost $79.

MARION TECHNICAL COLLEGE'S new Database Application Development and Programming Course trains students in all aspects of software development, from database design through the development of the user interface, deployment and support of completed software. The program focuses on providing students with as much real-world experience as possible, with team and individual assignments and finished projects to include in their portfolio of accomplishments. Students successful in the course will be prepared to test for the
MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE CERTIFICATIONS in Database Essentials and Software Development, which effectively communicate skill levels to potential employers.
Whether you're choosing a career path or changing your focus to relaunch yourself as a valuable employee, gaining new technology skills is one of the best avenues towards success.
