University of Houston uses photo background (8x8) for pictures

Backdrops offer a great opportunity to promote IISE and your chapter. These banners really POP and create the perfect backdrop for photos for important chapter events. There are many vendors you can contact about making a media backdrop for your chapter. Your backdrop must be approved by IISE Headquarters

The University of Houston had the above backdrop made for taking pictures of award winners and others at the chapter's banquet.

Volunteers from Pittsburgh chapter make an impact on the community!

Members of the IISE Pittsburgh chapter volunteered at the Produce to People distribution event on the South Side. The event was organized by the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and provided volunteers with an opportunity to make a big impact on the community. Participants broke down pallets of produce into appropriate portions, set up for the event and helped to distribute over 22,000 pounds of healthy food to over 600 Pittsburgh area families.

Networking Tip:   Being sincere and giving people an opportunity to be heard are generous ways to spend your time at a networking event.
