There are moments in history when it seems every aspect of humanity is in transition, and this may be the most profound such moment yet. Especially for those of us who are not religious, how can we make sense of a world in which everything we've known -- about politics, history, the environment, community, and even about ourselves and each other -- seems to be shifting beneath our feet?
 
It turns out, says Greg Epstein, Humanist Chaplain at Harvard and author of the New York Times bestseller Good Without God, that the above question is inseparable from our personal questions about how to find, or develop, our authentic selves in the midst of our own life transitions.  The same tools we use to empower ourselves to be genuine, to seek justice, and to embrace our vulnerability, must also be the tools we will need for building and growing a movement that can sustain us and improve the world.
