Its finally here...Dedication Sunday!  I know that we have had a couple of snafus this past week with getting our Certificate of Occupancy worked out because of a water issue, but all of that has been ironed out and we will call for a final inspection from the county on Tuesday. We expect all to go well with that and then we will hold our first worship service in the building this Sunday, October 23.  Please also note that we will have adjusted times for Bible Study and Worship with the move into our new building.

That same day, we will host the volunteer builders, as well as dignitaries and other invited guests, when we host our Dedication Service at 4:00 p.m.  What an exciting day we have coming! Don't miss out on any of this long awaited day!

I would be remiss without thanking all of you who have labored so long and hard to make this God-given dream a reality. Many of you have spent countless hours at the building, making sure that we have a place to call our own, a place to honor and worship our God.  I am forever grateful for your heart of service.  I learned many years ago that we should strive to do things that will "outlive our own lives"...and in building this building, that scores will come to worship in for years to come, we are doing just that.  It is an awesome, humbling thought....

I am honored, as always, to call myself your pastor.  I look forward to celebrating with you this week.  Let's do it together.

Serving With You,
Pastor Stan
Grand Opening!
Tell one...tell all....our GRAND OPENING is finally scheduled for Sunday, October 23! We have experienced a couple of weeks delay because of a delayed CO (Certificate of Occupancy) but our final inspection is scheduled for Tuesday and we anticipate no problems in moving forward now.  On Sunday,  Bible Study will begin at 9:15 a.m. and worship services will begin at 10:30 a.m.  Invite your friends and family for this historic event!
From Our Worship Leader
Are you looking for a place to use your gift in worship and music ministry? We are seeking to grow our worship team of musicians, singers, and audio-visual volunteers! If you are interested in serving in any of these areas, we would love to talk with you! Please contact our worship leader, Victoria Garrett, for more information.
Dedication Day Is HERE!
On Sunday afternoon, October 23 at 4:00 p.m. we will host an open house and Dedication Service in our new building.  Many of the teams that helped build our church will be in attendance as well as state and local honorary attendees.  Mark your calendar and help us host our first big event in our completed building!
