Itchy witches, dancing demons, and jumping jack o' lanterns are all on hand in this highly participatory, not too scary Halloween treat for families. Costumes are welcome!
 
Pumpkin Carving

Teen Program
   
Come to the library and use spooky stencils or design your own Jack O' Lantern just in time for Halloween.  
 
Relaxing with Lavender     
Thursday, October 27th at 7:00pm 
Alicia Forsini, owner of Sugar Loaf Mountain Herbs will teach you about the benefits of, types, and uses for Lavender. Create a sachet to take home. This program is currently full - please call ahead for wait list availability.

Cooking With Books                    
Program runs October through December 
Do you like to cook? Do you like to read? Join our new book/cooking club and create from recipes inspired by books. Pick up your book, recipe, and instructions at the front desk. This month's book is: How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World
  with a recipe for mini apple pies. Thanks to Bromley Givens for submitting his photo! Fantastic job on those mini apple pies!
Next month's book will be available November 1st!

Chair Yoga     

Mondays for the month of October at 11:00am

resented by Helene Byron, certified yoga instructor. 
This class is currently full - please call ahead for waitlist availability.
Helene will talk you through this gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Perfect for all levels, chair yoga is a great way to relax from head to toe without getting out of your chair.  
 
Elementary Explorers      

Mondays at 4:30

Stories followed by crafts, games, and fun activities.
 
Homework Club     
Tuesdays 4:00-5:30pm
Grades K-6

 
Homework can be a challenge and a stressor for many students. Tuxedo Park Library is here to help. Students can stop in anytime between 4-5:30 for homework help from staff and teen volunteers. Homework helpers will provide clarity and direction. Light snacks will be available.

Romp & Stomp

Romp & Stomp focuses on developing your child's pre-literacy skills. The program is designed to engage your children with short stories, finger plays, action rhymes, and songs, as well has help improve motor, sensory, and social skills with play time.

It is only fitting to include the biography of Sinatra - a great fan of Barbara Stanwyck. For those of you who missed (or didn't miss) the Authors' Circle with James Kaplan, this is a worthy read.
