Today's tasting begins with Chateau de la Ragotiere Muscadet ($13.99), a crisp, mineral driven white from the coastal region of Muscadet in the Loire Valley, followed by Henry Fuchs Pinot Blanc ($16.99), an Alsatian white with a creamy texture and rich stone fruit flavors. For reds we have Torrebruna
Sangiovese ($10.99), a medium-bodied Tuscan Sangiovese with bright acidity and red berry flavors, followed by Le Ragose Valpolicella Ripasso ($23.99), a wine with great depth and concentration to its dried red fruit flavors from the Amarone skins in which it is re-fermented, and we'll finish things off with Chateau Montfin Cuvee Pauline ($16.99), a Syrah based blend from southern France with firm tannins supporting dark fruit flavors and hints of eucalyptus on the finish.
