Learning Skills Seminars







Note-taking & Citation Management. October 18th at 1:30pm. KC 119.

Attend 4 presentations and earn a Certificate of Academic Engagement. Attend 6 presentations and earn an Advanced Certificate of Academic Engagement. Also earn Brain Bucks (residence students only).




Gather a team of 3 students, submit an application and prepare a 5-7 minute presentation on how
you would solve a major global issue. Apply by October 18th. Find more information here.
A Free Screening of the Pass System
There will be a free screening of the movie The Pass System in Kenny Theatre on Tuesday, October 18th from 7-8 p.m. This movie tells the story of the segregation of the indigenous people here in Canada.
 
Technology permitting, there will be a skyped Q&A opportunity with the director immediately following the film. All are welcome.
Tutorials will run every Friday except the week after the Finance exam and during the Organizational Behaviour Unit in the winter term.
 
All tutorials run three hours from 1 to 4 p.m. on Fridays in LH103 except where noted. LH100 is the overflow room (extra).

Second Installment of Fees for International Students Due November 1st  
This is a reminder to International students, on payment plan B, that the second installment of fees are due by November 1st. You can view your statement of account online.  Additionally, our generic fee schedules are available here.
 
Payments can be made through online/telephone banking, cheque, cash, debit, credit card, or money order.  Instructions and further details can be found on the King's website.
