It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Rabbi Marcus Burstein who served the Jewish Family Congregation of South Salem and, more recently, Congregation Shir Shalom of Ridgefield. Rabbi Burstein passed away on Wednesday evening following the conclusion of Yom Kippur.
The funeral for Rabbi Burstein took place this morning in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Shiva will be held on Monday, October 17th, at Congregation Shir Shalom (46 Peaceable Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877) from 7-9pm with a service at 7:30pm.
