Dear Parents and Students of Grades 11 and 12,
We invite you (parents and students) to our annual university counselling information evening on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
The goal of the evening is to inform parents about the university counselling that is being provided to all Grade 11 and 12 students. While this is being offered to all students of Grade 11 and 12, it is imperative that Grade 12 parents attend – this is an important session for you and your son or daughter.
The agenda for the evening includes the following topics:
Discussion and Presentation with Maria Carveth, FSLW for Clear Water Academy: Senior High School Stress Management
Presentation with Darren Forrester: The Advantages of a University Preparatory Program in the University Application Process
Presentation with Tara Wachtler and Allison Perri: The “Basics” – How To Apply to Universities and for Scholarships
The information evening will take place in Mr. South’s classroom (Room 102 – Athlone Hall). Please RSVP to this invite so that we know in advance how many parents and students will attend. This evening is designed to support the efforts of Senior High school families as they prepare for the next platform in their child’s education.
