Bridge to a Million 

KVMR and the Nevada Theatre joined forces in 2013 to complete critical repairs to the back wall of the theater, build a much-needed backstage area and provide a new home for KVMR. 

Completed in 2015, the partnership has strengthened the mission of each organization, as it has added to the vibrancy of the Bridge Street cultural corridor and improved the landscape of downtown Nevada City.

The "Bridge to a Million" Campaign began in 2015, with the goal to raise $1Million by November 1st, 2016. To be part of this historic endeavor

A Call to Artists

 KVMR and Nevada County Arts invite artists to participate in our 
"Animal House-Revisit-TIN" celebration - a fundraiser, party, auction and competition involving the creation of shelters for creatures utilizing recycled tin from the old Bridge Street building where KVMR now stands. 

Participants keep 30% of the auction sales price of their piece.

Indigenous Peoples' Day Programming 
In celebration of Indigenous Peoples' Day, Ryan Craig, guest broadcaster from Yakama Rez Radio KYNR joined KVMR and was an emcee on Sunday and Monday, concluding the holiday weekend with a 2-hour native 
hip-hop program.
