Downtown Rehab Project

Work on the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project is continuing through the fall season.

Surface work on 101 St., adjacent to Revolution Place, as well as between 99 and 100 Ave. is ongoing. Wapiti Gravel Suppliers will be continuing the installation of conduit, soil cells for trees, secondary electrical and irrigation systems and sidewalks, as well as paving the roadway at these locations.
The Contractor is currently working on switching businesses that are on temporary over to permanent water services; this will continue into the week of October 17. Waterline testing and flushing for the new waterlines, as well as camera inspections of the new storm and sanitary lines are also scheduled for the week of October 17th.

99 and 100 Ave. are currently open to two lane traffic; however, they may be temporarily reduced to one lane at a later date in order to permit underground inspection work on the new storm and sanitary infrastructure.
101 St. between 99 and 100 Ave. will remain closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic to allow surface work to take place. Businesses along this stretch can be accessed via alleyways.

101 St. between 100 and 101 Ave. will also remain closed to vehicular traffic.

All downtown businesses remain open during construction.
