Glades PATCH Meeting
The Glades PATCH (Planned Approach To Community Health) is a program designed to help the community evaluate, plan and implement health education and disease prevention and intervention programs. PATCH helps promote the health of the community to include social, emotional and physical well-being of its citizens. PATCH is a partnership of concerned citizens and organizations. This partnership provides a forum for identifying health problems affecting the community and mobilizing the community to plan, conduct and evaluate intervention services. The meeting is open to all who wish to join.

5K Eye Walk Eye Run
This event was created for the people of the glades region who are diabetic and will educate them on the effect diabetes has on their eyes. We intend to promote education and lifestyle changes through the walk and small health fair that follows immediately after. If we work together, I know we can make a difference!

Salvation Army Angel Tree Program Sign-Up New Deadline
DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO IS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE THIS CHRISTMAS? (For children 12 years old and under only) The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County operates a holiday toy distribution program. With the help of a generous public we are able to provide toys to families in need. Families must complete an application and registration to receive assistance through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, which assists high-achieving low-income students reach their full potential through education, is inviting applications for its College Scholarship Program, the largest undergraduate scholarship in the country.
Scholarship recipients will be awarded as much as $40,000 per year for four years to cover the cost of tuition, books, living expenses, and other fees.

The Sea Star Program's Club Seahorse
The Sea Star Program's Club Seahorse is an all-day camp experience. The purpose of Club Seahorse is to bring children 5 to 10 years old, whose loved ones have died, together on a teacher's workday for support and friendship. Camp Kangaroo is a free music therapy grief camp experience providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for children and teens who have experienced the death of someone special.
