Sustainability Tips and Tricks
For students

1. Use refillable binders instead of notebooks or use a laptop.

2. Carry a reusable cup or water bottle. Some water bottles come with built-in filters to improve the quality of the tap water.

3. Go vintage. Buying used clothing saves money, decreases the use of resources to make clothing, and helps eradicate sweatshops.

4. Save pages that you've printed and use the backs to print out drafts and other things you don't have to turn in.

5. Buy re-purposed furniture and used books

Quote of the Week: "We have the capacity to create a remarkably different economy: one that can restore ecosystems and protect the environment while bringing forth innovation, prosperity, meaningful work, and true security." - Paul Hawken
