Thank you STM Community for making MoreFest 2016 such a great success! It was a fantastic event with gorgeous weather, joy-filled friends, and a delicious spaghetti dinner to polish the evening off alongside Bingo. Thank you to all who participated and especially to those who assisted, in particular:
  • The MoreFest 2016 Planning Committee
  • STM Women's Group
  • All the event volunteers
  • The Boyscouts who helped throughout the day and were there bright and early to help with set-up
  • STM school staff and custodial staff
  • STM church staff
  • Those who donated to the wine & soda toss 
You all blessed this school immensely with your time, talents, and treasures and I am very grateful to have been blessed by your support in my first pass at MoreFest! You all have my deepest gratitude and thanks for your assistance.

Please remember that you and your children are our best marketing resources and we need your help to spread the word about events and the school. Whether that is by word-of-mouth or by social media, every bit counts and helps! Together, we are MORE!

Ways in which you can help others discover MORE:
  • We are currently working on an Open House for November, so get ready to spread the word and let us know if you have friends and neighbors we should invite!
  • We always need more Google reviews (even if you don't write anything)
  • We could use greater Facebook exposure
  • Our website has many useful resources

St. Francis Blessing of the Animals

On Saturday, Oct. 8, at 10 am  on the front steps of the church (Summit Avenue) we will be hosting a special blessing of the animals in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi. 

The equine (horse) division of the Saint Paul Police Department will be joining us this year; and we're hoping to host their canine division as well. Bring your beloved pets from cats & dogs to assorted rodents, reptiles, insects and birds. The ritual will be short and sweet; with plenty of fun and animal crackers.

After the Final Rose: Tapping the Grace of Sacramental Marriage

Please plan on attending our Fall Marriage Enrichment Event featuring Deacon Joseph Michalak at 7 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 11 in the STM School Auditorium. He will present, "After the Final Rose: Tapping the Grace of Sacramental Marriage." 

Deacon Michalak is a national speaker and serves as Deacon at our neighboring parish, Holy Spirit. He is also the director of the Institute of Diaconate Formation at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity. It will be a wonderful evening of refresh¬ments, fellow¬ship and a great talk!

Adult Men's Morning Basketball

For those of you adult men (18+) who enjoy shooting hoops, there is interest in getting together for a weekly early morning men's basketball game on Friday mornings.

Calling all Adult Athletes...

It's time again for Adult Volleyball!  Don't let winter turn you into a couch potato.  Get a "work out" and enjoy some friendly competition.
We play Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM starting October 26th, 2016. 

All members of our community, 18 and older, are welcome to join us in the school gymnasium for exercise and some laughs!  

All athletes are welcome; from beginners to the well-conditioned!  Any questions can be directed to Carol Ney ( [email protected] )
