Dear Coaches,

We are grateful for the overwhelming response to ICF's partnership with Baker & McKenzie LLP as we develop the Walk Through Walls program that helps human trafficking survivors. Director Joy Passey is working through over 80 applicants to select coaches and presenters.  Walk Through Walls has moved the kick off to the Q4 and would like to invite you to an information session on September 20th, followed by a cocktail reception from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at 3 Times Square, NYC to learn more! Membership - Speaking of membership, Director Mary Walsh has been leading a reach-out effort to encourage past members to rejoin the NYC Chapter.  We're up to 600 members and growing!  Please let us know what would enhance your experience.  Also, we are looking to add more member-only CoachCafe! events.  Our September 26th event led by Mindy Gewirtz, PhD is at capacity!  Do you have a discussion topic, a place to meet or a coffee shop? Events - September is packed with events.  Susan Ginsberg-O'Sullivan is masterful!  We have two webinars. On the 26th, A Masterful Conversation with ICF Executive Director Magdalena 'Magda' Mook: "Exploring Key Issues and Future Coaching Trends."  On the. 28th, Sarah Tennyson will discuss "What Drives Behavior?"   Also on the 12th, we are hosting NYC's live streaming of ICF MD's Coaching for Performance: An Evolution in Organizational Excellence.  Thanks to Carolyn K. 2017 Global Convention

Great news - the   ICF Global Convention will be back in 2017! This will be our first Global Convention since 2012, and promises to be our best one yet. Mark your calendars now for August 24 - 26, 2017. The 2017 event will take place at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC (USA).
