Election Day 2016
Tuesday, November 8
HOW TO MAKE SENSE OF ALL THOSE PROPOSITIONS?
People often ask us about issues on the upcoming ballot. CanDo is a non-partisan community service organization - one that appreciates good, clear research on both sides of an issue so we can make up our own minds.
Below
are explanations and recommendations from the California League of Women Voters. The League does NOT support particular candidates or a particular party. However, they have researched many of the propositions on the ballot and
share their recommendations
in this document.

The Choices We Make
Napa Valley CanDo seeks to inspire and facilitate action
by alerting interested Valley residents about opportunities for service. If you participate as a volunteer in an activity that you learned about through Napa Valley CanDo, whether initiated by CanDo or another organization, please take personal responsibility for your involvement. Use common sense. Only you can determine whether an activity is a good
fit, that is to say
compatible with your interests and abilities.

STAY TUNED FOR NEXT NEIGHBORHOOD COORDINATOR TRAINING
Interested in getting involved with CanDo's Napa Food Project? We can only grow with your help and Neighborhood Coordinators are key. These are the volunteers who sign-up friends and neighbors, send out a couple of reminders, and then pick-up green bags once every other month.
Our next Neighborhood Coordinator training will be held in mid-November. This is a spectacular way to help battle hunger in Napa while building community.
Email us. We'll be in touch.
