While historically several goods were manufactured in our neighborhood, the industrial sector continues to be an important job creator and valued part of the Midway. How long have you been a member of the Midway Chamber of Commerce?
I have been a member for 18 years. 

What aspect of being a member do you find the most beneficial?
The networking & getting to know new people. Also, the connections that you gain that are helpful in both business and personal life. If you or a client need some kind of service, there is usually a chamber member that can provide it. 

Why did you decide to join the Ambassador Committee?
Because I enjoy spreading the word about the wonderful Midway 
Chamber of Commerce.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Reading, traveling, walking and spending time with my family, especially my three adorable grandchildren.

Our Lady of Peace 75th Anniversary Celebration Gala

 

UPS ANNOUNCES GREAT PLAINS  X-PORT CHALLENGE
Winner will receive $10,000 in international services & other great prizes!
 
UPS is pleased to announce its first ever regional X-PORT Challenge to support small and medium enterprises with global aspirations. Participants must apply online at UPS.com/X-PortChallenge2016 and specify why their business is prepared for the international market. The top 10 applicants will move to a final round to occur on Oct. 18, 2016.
 
The 10 selected contestants will be invited to attend a "Pitch-Off" event in St Paul, MN. They will pitch their business to a panel of judges in the international business community. Judges will then pick the top three finalists as prize-winners.  






JCI's partnership with Chamber

JCI Saint Paul, formerly the Saint Paul Jaycees, provides the opportunity for young individuals to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change.
