The Community Service program created our  backpack project , which gave out school  supplies, backpacks, and hygiene products to high schoolers in Ypsilanti on August 30th and 31st. Backpacks are still available. If you know of a student in need of supplies, share our contact information.

Night of Learn about the Ypsilanti School Board Candidates is Thursday, October 13 from 7-9pm at Perry Early Childhood Center. 
Format: Each candidate will have 3 minutes for an introduction. A moderator will ask questions--and take audience questions that are written on cards

Having Opportunities for Positive Education and Ethics Bowl

H.O.P.E. is a program that gives high school students academic support and a place to do schoolwork. H.O.P.E. is not a drop-in homework program -- students must register for the program and attend the days that they sign up for. Participants are employed by Dedicated to Make a Change and are paid for their time.

Dedicated to Make a Change, L3C is in need of funds. I am asking you for help. Your partnership will help Dedicated to Make a Change, DTMAC, to continue to reach and support teens.
Our goal is for each teen, which participants in programming at the clubhouse, to receive a diploma and to earn an average or above score on the SAT, 1000.
We are asking for you to help teens receive academic support partnering with DTMAC.

Here are a few options: Be an Angle Investor, give DTMAC a micro loan with no or low interest, or run a Crowd fund on behalf of DTMAC, purchase Handmade Jewelry, and products from Syracuse Cultural Workers. As the saying goes, "any old amount will do."

During the summer, DTMAC was a merchant at the Ypsilanti Farmer's Market for 5 weeks, selling our merchandise and handmade jewelry and crafts. Due to the  academic  year, we are no longer have a table at the Tuesday Farmers Market but we have one at the Saturday Market.
