Supplies for Standing Rock!
Greetings!

In just two days, Catherine, Arielle, Dana, and Jiva will be traveling to Sacred Stone Camp  to bring supplies and offer support to the Water Protectors (click here for more  about what's happening there).  Over the last week, we have been purchasing and gathering donations of supplies, including a beautiful and sturdy winter canvas tent with woodstove, sub-zero sleeping bags, 50 pairs of new wool socks, 100 pounds of apples (which we picked ourselves!), and much, much more.   Six different local organic farms are donating portions of their harvest, including carrots, onions, winter squash, kale, arugula, and more – so much that we are renting a Uhaul trailer to carry it all!

That trailer will also enable us to bring an extra woodstove and firewood, specifically requested by those on the ground as they prepare for winter by building tiny houses. We feel grateful to be able to bring so many gifts of the earth from Ndakinna, now called Vermont, to the land at Standing Rock.

I am writing today to ask for your support to help cover the costs of the purchased supplies and travel, including the trailer rental – and offer a deep bow of thanks to those who already gave.

Together, if we can raise just an additional $1300 USD, we can cover everything, and Catherine, Arielle, Dana, and Jiva can focus on simply getting these supplies to Standing Rock safely.

Donations can be made through the Play in the Wild! website or the Baba Tree International website. All donations are tax-deductible for U.S. citizens. Any money leftover will be donated directly to Sacred Stone Spirit Camp.

Thank you for you consideration. Your support is what enables us, through Baba Tree International, ZENVC, and Play in the Wild!, to do what we do, and support the next generation of nonviolent leaders to protect and to serve all needs, all beings, and all life.

Blessings
Jesse

P.S. As I receive news from Catherine, Arielle, Dana, and Jiva from Standing Rock, I will be sharing it with all of you.  Look for an update at the end of this week or early next week.
