Book Club ***NEW***

Do you love to read? Want to talk about books you've read with other kids? Then come to our brand new Book Club on Saturday, October 15 from 10:00am -11:00 am or Tuesday, October 18 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Snacks will be served. Don't miss out on this fun group. (This program is recommended for kids in grades 3-6.)

Music with benjii

Join us on Friday, October 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 11:00 am for this joyful family music program. Everyone is welcome to sing, dance, and play instruments.

Snap Circuits

On Saturday, October 15 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm the Dover High School Shockwaves team will be here to instruct kids on our snap circuit sets.

Girls Who Code

20 week club beginning Thursday October 27

Want to work at a tech company? Get your start with a Girls Who Code Club!

When: Thursdays beginning Oct. 27 from 3 to 5pm--
20 week program
Where: Dover Public Library
Who: Kids in grades 6-12

This is a 20 week club-participants must be committed to attending at least 80% of the meetings. Participation is limited to 10 kids. Sign up by Oct. 14 by calling 516-6050 or from the events section of our website at library.dover.nh.gov. If there is high interest, preference will be given to Dover cardholders.

Downtown Trick-or-Treating

The library will be participating in the Dover Main Street Halloween festivities. Stop in the children's room anytime between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday October 29 . Make a craft and pick up a treat.


Saturday Matinees Oct. 8 @ 2pm Open Season: Scare Silly, rated PG. Oct. 15 @ 2pm Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, rated PG13. Oct. 22 @ 2pm Alice Through the Looking Glass, rated PG.	Lego Saturdays Every Saturday is a Lego Saturday! (October 1, 8, 15, 22) Use our LEGOs to build and create. Meet new friends, share your ideas, work on an interesting challenge, and have fun!	Paws for Reading Murphy, a certified therapy dog, and her handler, Karen, will be in the children's room on Saturday, October 1, from 10:00 am-11:00 am. Sign up ahead of time to read to Murphy or drop by for a visit.
