  September Luncheon and General Meeting Highlights
It was great to see everyone back at our first General Meeting after the summer break held  at Greenside Lounge, Stony Plain Golf Course.  Approximately 60 attendees, including Parkland County Mayor Rod Shaigec and Town of Stony Plain Mayor William Choy, joined Chamber President Laverne Pankratz in welcoming the new members to the Chamber of Commerce and celebrating milestone anniversaries of local businesses.

Attendees also heard from Chamber Executive Director Penny Gould who had just returned from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce AGM and Convention in Regina.  Ms. Gould reported strong endorsement from Chambers of Commerce across the country for resolutions supportive of getting Alberta's natural resources to market.
