October Community Outreach
Flood Relieve for Our Sister CSL in Louisiana
Throughout the month of October, TCSL's Community Outreach Ministry is collecting resources to aid our sister CSL in Baton Rouge. The Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana (CSL/SEL) has many members affected by the recent flooding and continuing rains. Some have lost everything. They lived in a 500-year floodplain, and almost no one had flood insurance. CSL/SEL members are opening their homes to the displaced and members and are helping strip flooded houses back to the studs with the intention of rebuilding. We can offer much-needed help by providing any of the following:
Gift cards:
Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam's Club, Home Depot, Lowe's, or Bed, Bath and Beyond
Linens: Sheets and pillow cases, towels and washcloths, kitchen linens
Linens may be placed in the barrels in the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall or Youth area. Gift cards will be collected in the Bookstore.
