Auction Spotlight: Bid on Tuscany Break for Two Couples!
Join Ivymount's biggest fundraiser on November 19th
and you'll have a chance to bid in our live auction which includes a trip for two couples to Tuscany!
Donated by our wonderful friends at
Total Wine, the $5,000 value trip will see two
couples traveling together to enjoy a three night stay in a winery's guest villa located in the breathtaking countryside of Tuscany. This is the opportunity of a lifetime! During your stay, you will receive VIP treatment, including one-of-a-kind vineyard and winery tours, private wine tastings, and an insider's look at winemaking in Italy's most famous wine region. When not on the vineyard, enjoy scenic drives to the heart of Tuscany, the city of Florence, as well as other historic cities such as Siena, San Giminano, and Pisa-all only a short distance from these guest homes. Buon viaggio!
Final Call for Donations and Sponsorship
If you are planning on donating an item for auction or sponsoring the event, you still have time before the deadline on Friday, September 30th.
With more staff than students, highly trained teachers that are paid less than those in local school districts, and innovative evidence-based programming that is constantly adjusted in response to our children's diverse and ever-changing needs, Ivymount's costs are more than tuition brings in.
Ivymount's biennial auction is our single largest fundraiser to help raise the necessary funds not covered by tuition. The Auction proceeds are crucial to supplementing tuition and making all of this possible.

Ivymount Classroom Businesses
Every school day:
9:05am - 9:30am
If you smell the scent of cinnamon and raisin bagels emanating down the hallway, you're probably close to Ivymount's Gator Café!
Open everyday day between 9:05am and 9:30am, the Gator Café is a student-run coffee and breakfast shop, serving
bagels, waffles, yogurt, breakfast burritos, coffee, and other start of the day essentials to staff and students. Click here to download the Gator Café menu.
The Gator Café, opened in 2004, currently operates in our
Community Business Space (Room 253),
a dedicated classroom set up to simulate a community convenience store and café.
In the spring of 2015, the
Gator Café
began using a real-world point of sale cash register system, exposing students to industry-specific technology within the school setting. While in Gator Café, student employees are trained across three employee roles, practice workplace routines such as checking in/out and setting up/breaking down, and learn basic customer service skills. The business also offers students of all ages an opportunity to practice important customer skills, such as waiting in line, purchasing, responding to employees, and asking questions.
The Gator Café is one of a number of student run businesses at Ivymount, along with Gator Mart, California Tortilla, and a pizza business! We will continue to
highlight
the other
business
over the coming weeks!
If you have any questions regarding Ivymount businesses, please contact Yelena Vakhlis at

Tuesday at Lunch Daily: 10:00 - 10:30 Friday: 11:45 - 12:30
