Academic Writing Workshop

Struggling to make your paper sound great? Donʻt know much about grammar and need some assistance? Look no further! Check out our Writing Workshop happening THIS WEDNESDAY!

Trespassing in the Academy Series:
Poetry for Haunani-Kay Trask

Celebrate one of the most influential, mover and shaker of our community, Haunani-Kay Trask, by writing poetry for and inspired by her. 

Date: Monday, October 3rd (Haunani-Kayʻs Birthday!)
Time: 3-4:30pm
Location: KUY 409 "Whale Room"

This workshop will be facilitated by Noʻu Revilla. Please feel free to bring your favorite HKT piece of poetry or prose (optional).

Academy for Creative Media
Hawaiian Language Film- Casting Call

The Academy for Creative Media is looking for ACTORS and CREW volunteers to help on this special film project. This fictional comic story takes place in ancient Hawaiʻi and will be shot in a documentary style that resembles the classic surf film The Endless Summer. They are looking Crew Volunteers interested in Hawaiian surfing, fishing, hale building and more! For actors, no experience needed.
